In this guide, we'll walk you through how to get started with both the POS equipment and the POS system itself. Whether you're installing from scratch or just want to double-check that everything is set up correctly, you'll find the steps here!
Log on
Before you get started with the hardware, we recommend that you start by logging into the Yabie app. You have received an email to choose a password, you log in to the Yabie app with your email address and your chosen password.

Connecting the POS equipment is quick and easy. Here we show you how to get started with our devices step by step – no prior knowledge is needed!
Before you get started
Before you start setting up your hardware, it's a good idea to make sure you meet our network & power outlet requirements.
Power
One power outlet per device (cash register, printer, card terminal, etc.)
Network & Internet
Fixed broadband is recommended (e.g. fibre, intended for businesses)
Minimum speed: 10 Mbps up and down
Extenders are not supported - each access point should have its own network cable
Wi-Fi
Fixed checkouts: Full Wi-Fi signal
Mobile devices: At least 2 of 3 bars
Receipt printers
Step 1 - Connect the printer to the tablet
Once you have connected your printer to a power outlet and turned it on, connect the included USB/lightning cable to your receipt printer in the port labeled iPad, and the other end of the cable to your tablet.
Step 2 - Connect Cash Drawer
Connect the cash drawer to your receipt printer in the port labeled Cash Drawer.
Step 3 - Print a sample receipt
We recommend printing a sample receipt to ensure everything is connected correctly. Go to My Store → Printers → Receipt Printer → Test Receipt
Step 1 - Power on the printer
Unbox your cash drawer and connect it to a power outlet. You can route the power cable in two different ways under the drawer, depending on which direction you want it to go.
Step 2 - Connect the printer to the tablet
Connect the included USB cable to your cash drawer in the port labeled iPad, and the other end of the cable to your tablet. The tablet is charged by the receipt printer.
Step 3 - Start the printer
Turn on the cash drawer by pressing the power button; there are LED indicators on the top of the drawer that light up when the drawer is powered on.
Step 3 - Print a sample receipt
We recommend printing a sample receipt to ensure everything is connected correctly. Go to My Store → Printers → Receipt Printer → Test Receipt

Payment terminals
Connect your terminal to power
Start by connecting the power cable to your terminal, then plug the smaller power cable into the cable adapter and into a wall outlet.
Connect your terminal to the internet
We recommend connecting your terminal via LAN, but if you do not have this possibility, it is also possible to connect it via Wifi. Remember that the terminal and the POS need to be connected to the same network regardless.
LAN
Start by plugging your LAN cable into the red socket in the cable adapter, connect the other end to your router.
Then follow these steps in the terminal:
Click Start
Select Quick Setup/Snabbinstallation
You will now see the terminal's IP address, note down this.
Wifi
Click Network Settings
Check Wifi
Then click on Wifi and select your network
Click the arrow in the top left twice
Click Start
Select Quick Setup/Snabbinstallation
You will now see the terminal's IP address, note down this.
Connect your terminal to the checkout
Click My Store at checkout
Click Payment terminals
Choose Swedbank Pax
Enter the IP address of the terminal
Click Add Terminal
Click Done on the terminal
Does your terminal show initialized or closed?
Go to Payment terminals at checkout and click close and then open
Connect your terminal to power
To charge your A920 terminal, plug it into a power outlet.
Get started with a standalone A920
If you use a standalone A920, you do not need to install your terminal, it is ready when you receive it! It connects via SIM card, if you wish to connect it to your Wifi, please feel free to contact us.
Get started with a integrated A920
Connect your terminal to Wifi
Remember that the terminal and the POS need to be connected to the same network
Click Network Settings
Check Wifi
Then click on Wifi and select your network
Click the arrow in the top left twice
Click Start
Select Quick Setup/Snabbinstallation
You will now see the terminal's IP address, note down this.
Connect your terminal to the checkout
Click My Store at checkout
Click Payment terminals
Choose Swedbank Pax
Enter the IP address of the terminal
Click Add Terminal
Click Done on the terminal
Does your terminal show initialized or closed?
Go to Payment terminals at checkout and click close and then open
If you use an AMS1, you do not need to install your terminal, it is ready when you receive it! It connects via SIM card, if you wish to connect it to your Wifi, please feel free to contact us.
Connect your terminal to power
Start by plugging the power cable into your terminal and the other end into a power outlet.
Connect your terminal to the internet
Plug your LAN cable into the adapter into the socket labeled ETH and the other end into your router.
Then click start in your terminal and you're good to go!
