Recommended Products provides sellers with a way to view products that are recommended to be sold alongside the item recently added to the basket. This can be used to help recommend the best wine to any dish, or to be able to quickly add any commonly added items.
Setup
Navigate to your product catalog within Backstage
Selected the product for which you would like to add recommendations too
Go to the Recommendations tab within the product detail view
Add the recommendations by clicking Add product, select the product/s and save.
Please note that the import/export function does not support Product Recommendations
How it works
Once you’ve set up your recommendations these will now show up in the till anytime you add the product. You can decide to add one of the recommended product by clicking on them, if you do not wish to add them you just continue the transaction as per usual.
Once a product with recommendations has been added to the cart, you can also select the lightbulb next to the product in the cart to see and add the recommendations.
