Variants help you manage and sell items that come in different options, such as size, color, or material. Instead of creating separate products for each variant, you can group them under a single product with variants. This makes inventory management and the overview of your sales easier and more organized.
In Yabie, you create a set of variant options that you then associate products with.
Manage variants
Backstage → Product Catalog → Variants → Create options → Give the variant a name (Size, Color, etc.) and add values (Red, Blue, etc.) → Save
Backstage → Product Catalog → Variant Options → Drop-down Menu on the Right → Edit → Make Desired Changes and Save
Backstage → Product Catalog → Variant Options → Drop-down Menu on the Right → Delete
Manage products with variants
For now, you need to create a variant option before you create a product. If you create a product first and then a variant option, you won't be able to add variant options to that product.
Backstage → Product Catalog → Products → Add Product → Select Product Type, select Product with Variants → Add Product Details, and select Variant Options.
You can choose a full set of variant options, or specific variants within that set. If you have a variant set for sizes that include S, M, L, you can choose to associate only M and L with the product.
After saving the above, you will now have a tab for Variants at the top of the product. In this tab, you can specify prices for each individual variant, if needed.
Backstage → Product Catalog → Products → Open the product view → Variants. Make the desired changes and save.
To set up inventory for each variant, go to Inventory within the product's detail view and add inventory information.
