To ensure the right people have access, you can manage users and logins directly in the system. Here, we’ll walk you through how to add new users, manage permissions, and resolve common login issues.

Permission using PIN-code
A user with limited access can see all settings in the POS but needs a 4-digit PIN code from an authorized user to access these functions.
Create users
Users are created in Backstage → Users → All users → Add new user.
Fill in the information and save.
Do you want to assign custom permissions to a user?
Once you’ve created a user, you can assign them custom permissions. You’ll find this in the user’s settings.If you want to change the default permissions for a role, you can do this in Backstage → Users → Settings.
Login Issues
I can’t log in to Backstage
If you’ve forgotten your Backstage username, you need to contact our support team.
If you’ve forgotten your Backstage password, click Forgot Password. You’ll receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password. If your username is not your email address, you’ll need to contact our support team.
I can’t log in to the POS
If you’ve forgotten your POS username, log in to Backstage → Users → All users. Here, you can see your users and usernames
If you’ve forgotten your POS password, you can reset it in Backstage by going to Users → All users → Select user → Reset password.
It keeps loading when I try to log in to the POS
If the POS just keeps loading when you try to log in, it’s most likely due to your internet connection. We recommend running a network speed test and reviewing our Nätverk & tekniska krav
Permission Description
If a user has limited access the user will still be able to see all selections in the settings, if they try to access something that they do not have access to this will only be possible if they enter the 4 digit PIN-code for a user that do have the access.
