Yabie Express works with standalone scales that print barcode labels according to the standard with prefixes 20-25.
How the barcode is structured:
Prefixes: 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 or 25
The first 8 characters: the barcode of the article
Next 4 characters: price or weight/quantity
Last character: check digit
When you scan a label that is in the product catalog, the item is automatically added to the cart. The cashier interprets the next four digits as either weight/quantity or price, depending on the type of code.
Weight code (prefixes 20-25):
The item in the system must be registered with the unit Kilogram (kg) and Fixed price.
The weight is in the barcode and the cashier calculates the total price by multiplying the weight by the price registered on the item.
Price code:
The item must be registered with the unit Unit (pcs) and Fixed price.
The price is indicated directly in the barcode from the scale. When the item is placed on the scale and the item is selected, the price is calculated and included in the barcode, which is then scanned at checkout.
