When getting started with stock, the first step is to enable stock tracking for the products you want to track.
Stock is enabled in Backstage. Go to Product Catalog → Products → Select product → Stock → Enable Stock tracking. You can now set the stock level for your product.
To update your stock quantity, go to the stock tab within the product view and tap Edit. Update the current stock level, select the staff member and reason for the change, and tap Save.
By enabling Low Stock Level, you can set a threshold for low stock. When this threshold is reached, you will receive a notification in the app that the stock is low.
You can also set up Stock Warning emails under Reports → Settings → Stock warning. Choose time to generate, frequency and store, enter the email you would like to receive these warnings and save. You will then get an email that includes the following information for any products that have reached their low stock threshold:
Product name
SKU/variant
Current stock
Warning level
Location.
CSV file containing the above information.
